I have just landed back in London and the holiday blues have kicked straight in! Seriously why don’t I live in a hot country?! I hate coming back to rainy weather but at least the temperature hasn’t dropped to freezing just yet! I plan on stretching out this summer for as long as I can, and I refuse to pack away my summer wardrobe just yet. One stand out piece that will definitely be holding on to as a transeasonal piece is this Moroccan print dress.
I didn’t have much time to shop before my holidays as I was really busy with work, so I did a big online haul. This cobalt blue caught my eye immediately as it is such a gorgeous colour and with the added print it is a show stopper. On the Missguided website it’s called a wrap dress, but the front detail is more of a knot than a traditional wrap. The plunging neckline is quite sexy so I decided to wear understated sandals to dress it down when I wore this to dinner. I like being more casual and comfortable on holidays but I will definitely wear this again with barely there strappy heels for a night on the town in London.
You may have seen me wearing this Mango bag in other outfit posts because I have been wearing it non stop recently. It just goes with everything! Sadly this bag sold out quickly as its very similar to a JW Anderson bag, so naturally people were keen to save over nine hundred quid by opting for the high street dupe instead. They do however have some unbelievable chain bags for amazing value like this one. I kept my accessories simple with delicate gold necklace and stacking rings to tie in with the bags gold ring detail. I went for natural makeup with lots of illuminator to create a summery sun kissed look. I did blow dry my hair straight but humidity took its toll so I ended up doing a loose braid before we headed out to create loose waves for a more beachy look!
Until next time…
