Asymmetry is back and this time it’s bringing with it some added drama. One shoulder tops have made a serious come back lately and most of the styles are supporting ruffles and volume. Off the shoulder styles have heavily featured ruffles over the last few seasons so it’s not surprising that the trend has evolved to a one shoulder style too. In my opinion it’s a welcome update that makes this a fun and flirty look that’s also extremely easy to wear.

Hands up who has asked the dress code to be told to ‘just wear jeans and a nice top’. I have torn my wardrobe apart on many occasions searching for something to wear for an impromptu night out or spontaneous date. Alas we have found the solution for that eventuality. Paired with your favourite pair of jeans, it can be dressed up with a pair of heels to paint the town red or dressed down with flats during the day. I opted for white jeans and block heels from Primark to add a summery feel and a red bag that I recently featured, for a colour pop.

Ok I must admit I went slightly mad in the Zara sale this summer, but can you really blame me!? This is another star buy from my haul that I have been getting plenty of compliments on. Sadly this particular top is now sold out but fear not I have attached lots of variations to inspire you to give this trend a try.
